I am a hybrid designer with both education and experience in the fields of Mechanical Engineering and Interactive Design (UI/UX). I seek to combine my talents working in the area of Product Design and/or Mechanical Engineering, and Project Management. -As a Mechanical Engineer and Draftsman for 12 years at Lockheed Martin in Research and Development, I am proficient in Mechanical Engineering, Project Management, Prototyping, Procurement, Drafting, GD&T, 3D Solid Modeling, FEM, and prototype construction using AutoCAD, Inventor, and SolidWorks.-Advanced degree in Interaction Design and Multimedia, as well as proficient in user experience/interface design, user research, usability testing, building application prototypes (UI/UX), and web development using Acrobat Pro, After Effects, Dreamweaver, Figma, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and XD.-Experience with C++, JavaScript, Node js, HTML, and CSS.-Professional Student with nearly 300 CSU and CSU transferable units, inclusive of Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, Chemistry, Computer Science, UI/UX HCI, Interaction Design, and Theater Arts.-Due to the illness and untimely death of a loved one, I was a caregiver for a cancer patient for 5 years.
