Site Superintendent of Maintenance works and outages on Boilers, Calciners, and a Liquor Burner at BHP Worsley Alumina.Ensuring that the Site meets the agreed targets in regard to Safety, Quality, Cost and Schedule.Compliance of all UGL policies and procedures including Safety, IR and HR issues.Ensuring Safety and Quality risk assessments are completed prior to the outage commencing.Building and submitting of tenders for site based work packages. Fixed Price and Schedule of rates.Managing tender submissions for work packages for potential clients. $1M - $3M fixed price contracts.Act as a liaison within the outage management team during outages.Recruitment of labour and resources required for ongoing maintenance contracts, breakdowns and planned outages.Management of labour and resources to complete the outage on schedule.Identify potential cost over runs prior to exceeding budget.Coordination of labour between work groups.Management and reporting of supervisors actions and performance.Responsible for procuring all specialised consumables, PPE and Hire equipment for site.

Responsable for the Tender, Award and Managing of all Subcontractors on and off site for UGL / SIEMENS Generation Alliance. Ensuring compliance of all Generation Alliance policies and procedures.Develop scopes of work for subcontractor tenders.Review all submitted tenders and award subcontracts.Coordinate and conduct alignment meetings with subcontractor management, UGL management and Verve Energy.Coordinate subcontract mobilisation to site.Induct all subcontractor and GA employees onto site.Develop and control subcontractor cost spreadsheets.Review and authorise subcontractor timesheets and invoices.Monitor and report subcontractor progress and report deviations.

Muja Power Station - Various Outages; Estimate and develop work packs prior to outages.Provide accurate schedules updates.Complete Safety Task Risk Assessment prior to outage. Complete and review all JHAs prior to work commencing and ensure all controls are in place as identified in S.T.R.A.Conduct daily pre-start and debrief meetings and coordinate labour within workgroup.Conduct weekly Safety meetings and ensure all issues are raised and delt with in a timely manner.Adhere to ITP's and ensure hold points are signed off prior to proceeding.Complete daily timesheets for work crew.Hold, manage and return Permits to work and ensure all work is within the P.T.W system.

Complete 'A' Class overhaul of 200MW Parsons Steam Turbine.Half life extension of 200MW Toshiba Turbines and generator.Refurbishment of generator hydrogen seals.Re-blade of Parsons LP spindle.Complete commissioning of turbines including balancing.Shift panel work with Western Power crews.

Project Muja Power Station - Various Outages and Labour support Western Power; Complete 'A' Class overhaul of 200MW Steam Turbines.Overhaul of FW valves, Fans and associated Boiler equipment
