That’s because he is motivated and inspired by work that requires a keen attention to detail. With over 20 years of industry experience, Sheldon is a Red Seal TQ Journeyman HVAC/R Technician that specializes in solving System and Building HVAC/R problems from design, to controls, to commissioning, as well as equipment service and repairs. Front loaded with his technical skills and expertise, Sheldon decided to start Micron Mechanical in 2024 with the goal of providing assessments and custom-tailored solutions for HVAC/R equipment and system preventative maintenance; while also being a leader in educating and training the next generation of technicians. Prior to Micron, Sheldon was the co-founder and co-owner of Rocky Point Commercial HVAC Inc. for over 6 years, where he lead the HVAC/R business division which transitioned to become Micron Mechanical Inc. in 2024.Education is at the forefront of Sheldon’s drive to succeed; from being in the top of his class at RTI to traveling internationally to train in Italy for Aermec chillers/heat pumps and to the Czech Republic on combined heat and power (CHP) equipment manufactured by Tedom. It is also within this desire for education that Sheldon wants to provide mentorship and training to the next generation of technicians.
