With over forty years of professional writing under my belt, and more than 20 years of constantly studying the complexities of SEO, combining my efforts between SEO and content strategy seemed to be a logical path. After three years of freelancing, I founded Doc Sheldon's Clinic, channeling work to a handful of accomplished freelancers as I started building a client base. In 2011, I invited a partner to join me and we continued growing the company. Late that year, we founded a new venture, Top Shelf Copy, a full-service SEO agency, with three dozen highly qualified and experienced copywriters on our team. This business continued to grow and our alliances with various prominent professionals in different areas of SEO allowed us to continue growing the company.In mid-2013, I split off Intrinsic Value SEO and left Top Shelf Copy to my partner to handle the copywriting and related services (although I still kept my hand in on the content strategy projects), enabling me to focus on technical SEO - fast, responsive, custom websites, site audits, penalty recovery, website security, privacy compliance, accessibility, and technical optimization. In 2022, I joined my two partners in founding Web Narwhal, and we all combined our own ventures under the Web Narwhal umbrella. The company provides design/build of websites, SEO, SEM, managed hosting and peripheral services to an array of clients throughout the English-speaking world.
