Successfully managed engagement with key international NGO’s and investors on specific issues such as Canadian oil sands and the US Revenue Transparency Bill.- Social Policy Advisor to the Group Chief of Staff. Regularly provided expert insight, emerging trends and external views on issues such as human rights and corporate transparency. Managed participation of senior leadership in social policy related events/activities. - Represented and managed BP position on key corporate responsibility issues, particularly focused on social issues. - Provide advice/support to segments or functions on mitigation to key social risks.

- Through a team of 20, created the strategy for, and implementation of bpTT’s overall engagement with external publics (including political relationships, public imaging and community relations). - The principle relationship manager for the government, regulatory bodies, the media, key communities and second highest public representative in country (2nd to the CEO).- Led delivery of external interface required for the divestment of oil assets, cross border field production and fiscal reform lobby.- Led dispute resolution for bpTT on issues with fishermen and local contractor groups.- Developed and maintained system to monitor external performance.- Delivered a coherent internal communications framework.- Briefed BP CEO and other senior executives as required for interactions with Prime Minister, Minister of Energy and Finance.
