I led a Health, Sport and Physical Education Unit in one of Queensland's most prestigious schools. Responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating innovative curriculum materials to over 1100 students, while mentoring staff across the state. Pioneered inclusive work around students with disabilities achieving goals through Health and Physical Education.One of the first educators to be invited to initiate the National Curriculum Trial, prior to its nationwide implementation; a duty I performed most diligently.

Once again seconded to Priority Country Area Program (PCAP) as a high performing leader and change agent under the 'Partners for Success' / 'Closing the Gap' Indigenous Education initiative.I led an innovative educational unit with a strong Indigenous and/or disadvantaged learner focus across vast areas of rural and remote Queensland, in over 70 centres.I was most successful in engaging geographically isolated and/or Indigenous students during my secondment and introducing effective policies and processes that remain in place today and continue to empower remote communities and their citizens.
