As a commercial sponsorship coordinator at MWR Naval Station, Great Lakes, I am dedicated to increasing the quality of life, retention, and mental sustainability of each and every service member and their families on board the base. I have been in this role for 10 months, and I leverage my 17 years of experience in federal contracting and business consulting to create and maintain strategic partnerships with local and national businesses that support the MWR programs and events.My core competencies include new business development, analytical skills, team building, community relations, and federal contracting. I have a passion for the military and a mission to bridge the communities around the base with the communities inside the military. I have helped hundreds of companies obtain and maintain government contracts, maximize customer retention, and optimize time and effort. I have also contributed to the company's growth and success through mergers and acquisitions, purchasing, negotiations, and GSA code compliance.
