Educating and raising awareness of one of the last 'Acceptable Forms a of Discrimination' that is not only overlooked but perpetuated in the Trucking Industry. From Drivers,Companies,Truck Stops, and completely dismissed by law enforcement. These Men and Women are projected as the Industry's 'Dirty Little Secret' and in extreme cases these abused,raped,harassed,misunderstood drivers are dying at an alarming rate either by their own hands or from that of abusers. How can this be an Industry that claimed it embraces ALL differences when it completely overlooks a whole segment of individuals.And abuses by the assumption perpetuated by media in their portrayals,jokes,verbal abuses and exclusion from equal protection from sexual harassment laws by employers,law enforcement. Not to mention the abominable abuses they suffer at the hands of other Truck Drivers.This all can be significantly impacted with education,equal treatment,safe practices,tolerance,etc... We don't want any more Men's or Women's lives,much less their carriers to come to a halt over issues that are preventable,and complete waste. Show less
