• Scheduling, organizing and finalizing contracts for incoming acts and in house productions taking place in the 320 seat theatre at the college• Taking reservations, printing and distributing tickets for events at the theatre• Head of house responsibilities during shows and events held in the theatre• Organizing free performances of the Children’s theatre production for schools in the surrounding counties, both in house and traveling• Advising the student organized Theatre club, coordinating fundraising attempts and providing guidance on how to boost attendance. Facilitating the groups many fairs, shows, trips and meetings.• Organizing high profile fundraising events for the college held in the theatre• Creating, editing and organizing the printing of all programs and informational packets for the Fine Arts Department at GCC• Working closely with the marketing department at GCC to create postcards advertising the college’s events.• Marketing events held in the theatre in a low/no cost manner • Communicating with local businesses about sponsorship for the Arts Department• Communicating with area schools in order to schedule incoming students, booking seats and lunch areas• Attending meetings in relation to the Forum Players advisement, Title IX training and funding sources
