Finance ManagerCraven Group May 1985 - Feb 1998I worked for the Craven group for 13 years as right hand person to the CEO. Upon completing my Accounting program I was lucky enough to gain employment with a property developer, the Craven Group owned by Phil Craven, so I gained the best of both worlds. He was amazing and I had flexibility in the position to manage my children, family life and work. I could not have asked for better.Mr Craven’s portfolio consisted of investing in property development, construction and commercial property investments, a chain of Serviced Apartments, developing retirement villages. He is certainly a man to be admired. During my time there the business grew significantly and this means I grew and gained a lot of knowledge. Thus I was able to develop my own property portfolio which has assisted in my business develop for Axeze. During my time at Cravens I was an integral part in the business growth and development from $1m turnover to $20m over ten years. I assisted in establishment of business goals and growth with a compound increase of 30% pa for 12 years. I handled the HR from a staff of 3 to a team of 30 employees. I was responsible for initiating and installing networked computer systems and developed various administrative and procedural systems, ensuring correct record keeping for all Government authorities and internal error checking and auditing for jobs. I was involved in compiling and implementing business plans for the four major organisations and the Implementation and establishment of a Quality Assurance Program. I was involved in the R&D of Serviced Apartments and Retirement Village, and in setting up and establishing, then managing these on behalf of the owner and then handing these over to management in due course.When the building manager was made redundant the Sub contractors came to me for advice, assistance, queries and union problems. I handled many involved and intricate queries. This was an amazing job working for an amazing man.

Tupperware SalesOsborne Park Wa Mar 1980 - Dec 1982I sold Tupperware whilst my children were just starting school because it offered me great flexibility as a young mother. It did not take long before I started winning awards for sales achievement and gaining recognition in this organisation. It was a great job at the time but very hard to get parties. However it supported the family income and kept me busy.
