In this role I work to promote Six Ticks' affordable modern websites, mobile apps and IT solutions for small to medium sized businesses. I also specialise in writing blogs, social media and marketing to help the company expand its base of UK and international clients.

In this role I was the senior corporate fundraiser and was responsible for managing the charity’s major partnerships with companies:This role involved:- High quality account management of global corporate partners including Facebook, Barclays, PwC, Aviva, William Hill, Accenture, and Jurys Inn- New business – Essentially ‘selling the charity’ to companies through cold calling, relationship building, converting leads, meetings, presentations, and bid writing- Working under pressure to meet financial targets, surpassing my income targets and building on them year on year- Event Management – I was solely responsible for organising CEO Sleepout London events for over 100 senior business people at Wembley Stadium and the Kia Oval. I love organising events and have an excellent attention to detail and organisational skills- Writing corporate communications for Depaul’s newsletters, website and press releases- Daily posting of engaging content on social media (Twitter and Facebook)- Excellent administration skills – maintaining the corporate database and reporting to donors- Excellent client relations – regular face-to-face and telephone contact to build strong, engaging, and long lasting partnerships with corporate partners- Key input into developing the corporate fundraising strategy- Monthly budget reporting and working to targets- Line management of one junior fundraiser

As the sole Trust Fundraiser for Young Epilepsy my role included:- Working with service teams across the organisation to create high quality bids to secure funds from Trusts and Foundations- Writing reports to funders- Organising project visits for potential and current funders- Stewardship of all Trust and Foundation donorsMy major personal successes in this role included:- Winning a grant of £163,000 from the Big Lottery Reaching Communities Fund- Securing a £97,000 grant from a high profile charitable foundation- Winning 3 x high value grants to purchase 3 new minibuses (combined value of over £50,000)- Increasing the Trust Fundraising income from £150,000 to £400,000 over a 2 year period

At Young Epilepsy I was a key part of a small but rapidly developing fundraising team and held several roles. My key responsibilities and successes in my role as Community and Events Fundraiser included:- Coordinating corporate onsite volunteering challenges for companies including Glaxosmithkline and Fidelity- Within each role I was responsible for developing strategy and meeting agreed income targets - Managing event participants such as the London Marathon runners. Through high quality stewardship I improved income from this event from £29K to £42K over a one year period.- Management of 1 community fundraiser and senior responsibilities within the team including development of the community and event fundraising strategy- Major donor stewardship and organising project visits for supporters- Event planning - Full responsibility for organising and recruiting attendees for the prestigious annual opera fundraising dinner and the charity's Dragon Boat race day. - Editing and writing all copy for the charity quarterly newsletter which was circulated to 13,000 supporters
