Shelley Johnston is a veteran of the ski industry, with over twenty years of coaching and leadership experience. One of the few women to attain head coach and team captain status, both nationally and internationally, Shelley is no stranger to challenging the status quo. Her keen ability to network and manage her team, both on-hill and off, have contributed to her success. Shelley's proficiency with language--she speaks French, Italian, and Japanese--was gained largely through fearless cultural immersion. Having also taken many cocktail and high-end bartending courses Shelley also infuses and invents delicious beverages for the aficionado. This is very convenient as the President of Freshwater Distillery where she produces high end spirits while supporting local businesses and causes. After a brief tenure as a film reviewer, she moved behind the camera as a production assistant and editor. Keeping up with the times Shelley currently produces, and stars in multiple podcasts including True North Crime and Going Downhill, and while doing so is advising new podcasters and potential YouTube stars on content and production.
