• Acts as the account manager for a portfolio of captive and commercial insurance and reinsurance companies as well as segregated accounts structures.• Prepares monthly and quarterly management accounts and cashbook reconciliations for purposes of internal reporting to clients.• Prepares the clients’ yearend financial statements and other required reports in accordance with US GAAP, IFRS, as well as the insurance regulatory environment.• Prepares regular financial commentaries to accompany the financial statements.• Prepares the annual filings of Statutory Financial Reports and Economic Substance Declarations as mandated by the Bermuda Monetary Authority.• Assists external auditors in conducting their interim and yearend financial audits of the companies and provides all the necessary documentation requested by the auditors.• Serves as a client contact for day-to-day needs and answers standard or more difficult client questions to improve good relationships and experience with clients.• Liaises with actuarial teams to obtain timely actuarial reports to be included in the financial reports.• Liaises with the office Treasury team to process day-to-day expense payments of specific clients.• Attends client board meetings and presents overall financial performance to the board; also assists in preparing board meeting materials and liaises with the office administration team to organize logistics required for the meeting.
