Profile bio

About Shelley Hartman

Hey there, welcome to my profile! My name is Shelley I excel in empowering individuals through kindness, understanding, effective organization, motivation, and fun! This is demonstrated all throughout my professional history. Right out of undergraduate college, I worked for a symphony orchestra where I assisted in promoting events, raising funds, and creating a lively atmosphere for patrons. While working full-time for the symphony orchestra, I attended graduate school part-time to pursue a master's degree in post-secondary education: student affairs. While I was working, I provided guidance to a student group that organized and carried out a range of events that represented the varied interests and requirements of the student community. As part of my work, I had the opportunity to mentor students through the Student Accessibility Services office, helping them manage their academic workload. After graduating, I worked for several colleges where I advised their student activities board. My role involved assisting the students in event management and helping them develop their leadership skills. Most recently, I left higher education and started my career as an Online Help and Communication Specialist with Nelnet Business Solutions. I am fortunate to leverage my enthusiasm for education and organization in a role that allows me to produce captivating online content while collaborating with a team that values candid feedback, thereby enhancing the quality of our content. In my personal life, I am embracing both my extroverted and introverted sides by seeking opportunities for self-empowerment and going on endless adventures. I enjoy starting my days with a book and a cup of coffee, dancing to live music, exploring the world through travel, capturing life's moments on camera, spending quality time with my family, having deep conversations and long walks with friends, and spoiling my cat, Ethel.I'm always looking for opportunities to expand and meet more people. I hope to get to know you!
