I Lost my beautiful Mom to cancer at age 56 back in 1982, after she had worked for Revlon cosmetics for 20 years, putting toxic beauty chemicals on women across the US, 8 hours a day.I have had my own cancers removed from my lip, back,eyelid, under other eye, side of nose. I found out about the chemicals in everyday used personal care and beauty products back in 1998, and decided my next career was going to be a cancer prevention educator. I researched for over 25 years the reasons why there was so much cancer, especially among women. I became appointed Director of the Cancer Prevention Coalition of Los Angeles in 1999. We give seminars to the public on awareness of avoidable risks of cancer from environmental toxins.
