• Hiring the implementation team.

• Managing the day-to-day on-site operations, which involved overseeing multiple contractors, designers, carpenters, visual merchandisers, and graphics personnel.
• Aligning with the external contractor, attending update meetings and overseeing the completion of store areas.
• Overseeing external contactors for interior work and designs (including millwork).

• Reviewed commercial briefs; provided input for clarity and adherence to guidelines.
• Provided support for the conceptual store plans.
• Hired IKEA planning team and new IKEA Halifax store team.
• Partnered with internal project expansion group to define ways of planning, file structure, tendering for contractors, phasing and timelines for handover.
• Partnered with Service Office function manager for rough and detail plans with checkpoints and signoffs of store plans including range presentation, store lay-outs, store communication and securing the IKEA brand.
