As TRUEdotDESIGN’s founder, Shelley oversees the agency’s strategic direction and leads the team in providing clients with game-changing, results-driven vision and strategy. Her passion is in building long-term partnerships with clients to help them solve complex business and marketing challenges.Shelley launched TRUEdotDESIGN in 2012 to fill a market need for a fully integrated marketing and design agency serving the building sector. She began growing a loyal base of clients in real estate, architecture, construction, home renovation and related fields, as well as in a wide array of business sectors. In 2015, with the firm at capacity, she acquired award-winning, Ottawa-based design studio Avenue Design and seamlessly integrated the two teams to create the powerhouse agency of choice you see today.Known as a natural connector, Shelley understands the importance of having an authentic voice, online and off. She’s a champion of entrepreneurship and a strong believer in the power and importance of mentorship. Shelley sits on the board of directors for the Ottawa Board of Trade and is the founder of FORE-Play for Charity, an annual women’s networking golf tournament that connects women leaders in the building industry, and raises funds for The Royal Ottawa Foundation for Mental Health.
