Like so many, I have struggled with eating and exercise throughout my entire life. Upon deciding what to do "when I grow up" it struck me that * a B.A. in Psychology, * a life-long career supporting people in achieving their personal and business goals, * the health and nutrition knowledge gained over the years, and, * my desire to help others would make me an effective Health and Wellness Coach. So I did just that - I obtained my health coach certification through Dr. Sears Wellness Institute (DSWI), a National Board of Health & Wellness Coaching (NBHWC.org)approved educational program.I am passionate about guiding others through the aging process using evidence-based research and Dr. Sears' L.E.A.N. pillars of health. Applying my personal experience with, and approach to, healthy living, I help clients make sense of the multitude of often conflicting information about health and nutrition. I coach clients on developing healthier, sustainable habits related to nutrition, weight-management, stress, sleep, inflammation, pain, physical activity, and disease, such as pre-diabetes. Together we identify areas and co-create strategies to prevent disease, repair age-related damage, and improve quality and longevity of life and overall well-being.
