Statistician for the Institute for Child & Family Wellbeing. Develops methods of measuring wellbeing for each of the centers, and evaluates the effectiveness of each center in the improvement of wellbeing for The Institute's clients. Measures short term outcomes that contribute to the impact of improving overall wellbeing in the Epworth community. Assesses the effectiveness of the programs that are offered by each center. Collects data to submit to the Performance Quality Improvement department. Develops, maintains, and manages clinical trials and research.

Independent management of 5 active clinical trials, including 3 sponsored drug studies and 1 device study. Review and understand research protocols. Conduct complete procedures of research including clinical research visits and regulatory processes. Recruit, screen, and enroll target participants including performing and securing the informed consent process. Ability to train others to conduct studies based upon the requirements of the protocol, including nurses, techs, and research staff. Aided in the maintenance of the IntruSt study of exercise treatment of combat veterans suffering from PTSD; mentored multiple undergraduates in the development of their senior thesis proposals and presentations for student research day at USC. Completed a book chapter outlining sleep duration, morbidity, and mortality for submission into the upcoming Sleep Disorders Medicine textbook, to be published in 2015.

Conducted a systematic review of urban physical education in order to assess needs in the urban environment. Contributed to a systematic review of chronic disease management in the school health environment. Contributed to the DNA and protein extraction and microsatellite genotyping of species of flour beetles, yellow jackets, and flour ants; responsible for the general lab maintenance.

Monitored mating behavior rituals of T. Castaneum beetles that were isolated into specific population densities in order to determine the effect of population on mating behaviors; presented findings at several scientific seminars.
