Caregiver
-Assist the client with ADL's (i.e. hygiene, incontinence, dressing, eating, toileting, and transferring) and supervise the client's ability to independently perform ADL's. Understand and adhere to safety, accident, and treatment protocols. Encourage a mild exercise program-Provide timely medication reminders; observe and assist in charting of medications-Plan and prepare nutritious meals, which typically includes grocery shopping, cooking, and kitchen clean up.-Observe, report, and chart client status; report all concerns to an RN Case Manager-Provide caring, emotional support, companionship, and conversation. Encourage and participate in reading, games, and other activities to stimulate mind and spirit-Perform light housekeeping consistent with client care plan, insuring cleanliness and sense of order-Provide transportation to scheduled appointments, shopping, errands, church, etc-Assist with home management tasks as authorized by the client and/or client's representative/family member (i.e. pay bills, monitor home repair, etc.)
