Profile bio

About Shelli Roberts

I knew going in that it wasn’t going to be easy, I knew that change would take time, and I also knew that with the right strategies and team in place, massive change was possible. As a leader, educator, and project manager, I have a proven track record of implementing positive change, improving organizational morale, and establishing goals that are measurable, attainable, and vision-based. Throughout my experience working in various leadership roles, I have navigated working in schools with various levels of support and leadership. One of my proudest accomplishments is the change I was able to implement over a 5-year span at a school that, when I walked in on day 1, had no established mission or vision. In that role, I quickly learned the school was lacking consistent leadership, and as a result staff didn’t feel supported, connected, or empowered. Implementing regular one-on-one and staff-wide meetings was the starting point. Developing a mission and vision with buy-in from all parties was the launching pad. Supporting staff through consistent and ongoing communication, professional development, securing funding, and utilizing data to make informed decisions was the catalyst for cultivating a positive and inclusive environment where both staff and students felt empowered. While I’ve worked in education for over 20 years, at my core I am passionate, flexible, an organizer, a leader, and a problem solver. I thrive in environments where I can support and inspire others, create a positive impact, and maximize the potential of an organization.

Listed skills include Educational Leadership, Curriculum Development, Staff Development, Differentiated Instruction, and 18 others.
