The William Henry Seward Papers is the largest and most frequently cited manuscript collection in University of Rochester’s Rare Books, Special Collections, and Preservation Department. The Seward project digitizes, transcribes, and annotates letters from the Seward Family, and makes them available on a pubic website. This digital humanities project has made the letters, which describe daily life in the nineteenth century over the course of decades, searchable by keyword, annotated the people mentioned within them and created a database with biographical information, all available to students, researchers, and the general public. The Seward Family Archive also involves the unique aspect of being a multi-generational digital humanities project, recruiting and training retiree citizen volunteers, whose expertise deciphering challenging handwriting is paired with students' knowledge of the technology and time period.

This course covers Chinese history from 1600- present as its people experienced numerous modern transformations.

Provided tours for students and visitors at this historic house museum; contributed to an educational video on women's rights for fourth grade students; updated/ revised the Docent Manual; created a new specialty tour, The Historic Housewives of Nineteenth-Century Auburn utilizing materials from the University of Rochester's William Seward Manuscript Collection and the Seward Family Digital Archive, (provided inaugural Historic Housewives tours at the first annual Brave Brews Fest, March 5, 2022.) Provided research and reference materials for staff and volunteers.

Grant writing, writer staffing and oversight, client support and project coordination. Interviewed applicants, participated in hiring recommendations, trained and mentored grant writers, maintained project records, cultivated client relationships, provided quality assurance for a range of state and federal grants. Initiated and developed the successful company nomination for the Athena International Organizational Award, awarded to BRI in 2021. Led growth of grants division each year.

Experience with funding agencies including NSF, NEH, DASNY, NYSED, and private foundations. I have performed analysis and synthesis of evaluation data for grant evaluation, developed, written, proofread, and edited grant evaluation reports, and performed grant writing and coaching functions for a variety of organizations. I also curated company emails, assisted with social media sites, the BRI website, newsletters and campaigns, created the company professional development catalog, promoted grant opportunities, and scheduled meetings, interviews, and social events, as well as managing invoicing and associate compensation.

This course introduced primarily medical students to the history and development of the United States health care system and the development of the health insurance industry.

Freshman Writing Seminar- Art and the Culture Wars. This adjunct position involved teaching academic writing skills as well as the history of the Culture Wars in the United States. I began mid-semester when the original professor transitioned to a new position.
