With over 25 years of work experience in the public and nonprofit sectors, I am the President of Children of Inmates, a nonprofit organization that supports children and families affected by incarceration. I am also a field-based criminal justice researcher in the role of CEO of Justice & Security Strategies, Inc. (JSS), a consulting firm that provides strategic planning, research, and evaluation services to law enforcement agencies across the US.I have a Ph.D. in Governance from Maastricht University, a Master's degree in Public Policy Analysis from the University of Rochester, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Oklahoma. My core competencies include leadership, advocacy, collaboration, and innovation. I am passionate about creating positive social change and empowering marginalized communities through evidence-based policies and programs.
