I trained new employees, provided on-going and updated training for current employees as industry standards changed. Kept up with payroll, and time keeping responsibilities. Attended meetings with various insurance providers to discuss denials, and how to improve claims, billing, and business practices. I prided myself in learning about healthcare and I participated with a team of experts, directors, managers, IT specialists, and created a Web-tool that would help our department download both inpatient and outpatient accounts faster, and allowed our department greater flexibility to process accounts faster, notify the facilities faster, and complete accounts with better documentation, which helped the billing process.
