Responsible for managing and creating engaging content for the Entertainment Design social media platforms.

In cooperation with the Sarasota African American Cultural Coalition (SAACC), the Ringling College of Art and Design INDEX (ELEC 350) class goal was to conceptualize Leonard Reid’s house as a future home of an “historical and cultural center” in Newtown. The center would include historical components as well as a permanent art installation and exhibition space. Until the larger center is fully realized on the site, its temporary home will be the historic Leonard Reid house, moved from the Rosemary District to the southwest corner of North Orange Ave. and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Sarasota. The project objective for the Ringling student team, led by two members of the Ringling faculty specializing in entertainment design and creative writing, was to conceptualize a design for the Reid House in two phases. The original structure, built by Leonard Reid, a pioneering African American resident of Sarasota, would ultimately house a meaningful guest experience space to tell the Reid family story and, by extension, highlight the local African American experience. In this project, I took part in designing the spatial layout and flow of Phase 1. Additionally, I 3D modeled the house, assisted with creative design, lit the space, and captured the final renderings. My work on this project is still continued today. Myself and one other colleague have been conceptualizing and designing a scale model of Sarasota County that highlights the local African American experience. We intend to fabricate a scale model table that will exist in The Reid House when it's complete!
