Shelly joined Anthem in May 1998, as a Customer Service Advocate within the Pharmacy unit. She was promoted to Pharmacy Account Representative in 2001, where she provided high level customer support to approximately 25 National and Local ASO and fully insured clients while working directly with the accounts and Anthem’s sale team. Shelly was later promoted to Business Analyst where she was responsible for implementing new, redesigned and non-standard custom group plan designs which included creating benefit plan designs, reviewing system setup and benefit testing. From January through December 2008, Shelly assisted with migrating Empire’s New York Local and National Pharmacy business to the new PBM, NextRx. Before joining the National Implementations Team she assisted with migrating Anthem’s New York National Pharmacy business from NextRx to the new PBM, ESI (Express Scripts). In July of 2010, Shelly joined the National Implementation Team as an Implementation Coordinator supporting system consolidations from CS90 and WGS to NASCO along with the implementation of the Buck RightOpt Private Exchange. In August 2014, Shelly was promoted Coordinator Lead due to her outstanding performance. Shelly is also working alongside Ashley Dillon as SME for national pharmacy integrations while coordinating standard renewals and major changes for her own book of business consisting of Credit Suisse, HMS Host, Citi, Moody's Corporation and Quad/Graphics. Shelly’s strengths are her communication skills, attention to detail and sense of urgency. Shelly has many years of experience in managing multiple projects and providing support to our clients and internal partners. Shelly was selected last year by her manager as a role model of WellPoint’s Core Values and her employee showcase was displayed on the National Implementation Team’s ‘It Starts with Me’ campaign and most recently was chosen by account management for 'Values in Action Award' for her valuable performance.
