As Laboratory Manager my responsibilities include the setup, service and daily operations of a moderately complex CLIA regulated Laboratory. Including keeping policies and procedures up to date, staffing, maintaining quality control and preventative maintenance, along with bench work. Involved with the previous 2 implementation of Friend community Healthcare systems EHR systems, Nextgen and Healthland Centriq. I also am responsible for charge master setup and maintenance of laboratory tests and to verify accounts for correct laboratory billing.I also am the Infection Control Coordinator at Friend Community Healthcare Systems. Responsibilities include Developing and maintaining the Infection control program under critical access hospital regulations, surveillance of hospital and Long Term Care acquired infections, provide educational opportunities for infection control prevention and provide Infection statistics to appropriate government entities and to medical staff.
