*Responsible for developing, implementing, and administering an industry best practice approach to cost effectively achieving the highest level of performance from Tampa Electric’s utility scale solar facilities, battery energy storage facilities and collector stations through optimized operations.*Responsible for the development and maintenance of a reliability predictive modeling tool for these facilities.*Direct others, full responsibility for supervising, training, and assignment of work to Renewable System Operators. *Prepare and/or approve independent engineering analyses and reports, shall have the ability to establish and implement efficient work procedures and practices.

Solar Operations

*Develop, implement, and administer an industry best practice approach to cost effectively achieving the highest level of performance from Tampa Electric’s utility scale solar facilities and collector stations. *Develop and track an effective inspection, monitoring, environmental compliance and preventative maintenance programs for Tampa Electric solar facilities and collector stations. *Develop and maintain a reliability predictive modeling tool for Tampa Electric's solar facilities.

Big Bend Power Station

*Responsible for applying applicable standards and procedures to develop the asset hierarchy for power generation and delivery equipment including the development of Criticality Analysis for failure modes.*Develop calculations to standardize and objectively quantify the health of equipment. This includes the ability to identify and apply industry standard methods for evaluation of multiple failure mechanisms in equipment or develop novel health indicators and policies.*Facilitate collaborative evaluation of alternative actions to respond to equipment risk and make recommendations to mitigate unacceptable risk. *Implement reliability, AM, and electric industry best practices such as Root Cause Analysis, Management of Change, Analytics, Risk Management, and Investment Planning.*Develop requirements for supporting AM processes and systems. Implement, maintain, and improve the AM processes, systems, Business Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence and other systems supporting AM and ES asset monitoring functions.*Facilitate Reliability teams for the collaborative development of AM processes.*Responsible for employing performance metrics and reporting methods including but not limited to data analysis to ensure adequate stakeholder communication and achievement of related organizational goals (GADS, benchmarking, dashboards, and other measures).

Bayside Power Station

*Provide guidance for all water/auxiliary equipment. Provide guidance and technical support on all plant water chemistry needs. Evaluate water sampling results and make changes/improvements as needed. Manage relationships with outside water chemistry contractors and equipment maintenance contractors related to station water chemistry and position equipment responsibilities.*Technical coordinator on any chemicals and resins purchased for use by facility personnel. This includes evaluation of all chemical aspects of the product, including gathering safety, environmental, and effectiveness information.*Provide guidance and technical support on anything related to water quantity and quality, including managing pond, sump, and tank levels. Provide guidance and technical support for operational water requirements. *Station lead on engineering projects related to position equipment responsibility.*Accountable for the environmental compliance with all federal, state, local and corporate environmental requirements applicable to Bayside and Partnership Stations, including current permits. *Create, monitor, and forecast budgets for water (including chemicals) and environmental including those environmental costs settling from others.*Coach and assist direct reports in the administration of their responsibilities, setting work priorities, resolving safety and environmental concerns, and any other tasks that are part of their duties. Accountable for the daily coordination, direction, and support two station administrative specialists, and the station environmental coordinator (technician).*Provide input on all Station goals and work with Key Management Team and assigned staff in developing and prioritizing plans to achieve assigned goals.

*Manage and develop programs for personnel training and development, recognition, diversity, performance appraisal, equitable and performance based salary administration to foster the highest levels of customer service, teamwork, employee involvement, continuous improvement, risk taking, and effective and efficient operations.*Assist in the management of the operational and business performance of Tampa Electric’s generation assets.*Extensive interactions with internal operating departments as well as various levels of corporate management.*Developing and implementing business plans and strategic initiatives to optimize long-term business performance of Tampa Electric’s generation assets.*Directing short-term resource availability, fleet optimization and overall operating and business performance.*Daily System Planning – Assess, communicate and execute the short-term resource availability plan for serving Tampa Electric’s load in a safe, reliable and economic manner; including unit status, expected unit runs, natural gas requirements, short-term outage plans, and storm mgmt plans. This involves communication and coordination with plant personnel, Grid Operations, Wholesale Marketing & Sales, Fuels, upper management and other departments. All communications must comply with the FERC Standards Code of Conduct.*Optimize Plant Operations - Provide day-to-day oversight and direction for Tampa Electric’s generation performance. This includes the day-to-day responsibility for coordinating, evaluating, and providing a catalyst to ensure optimal generation performance and profitability. Assist in developing metrics for goal achievement. Periodically meet and communicate performance status with plant personnel.*Maintenance Scheduling Plan - Coordinate with plants to develop short-term and long-term generator outage scheduling.*Provide leadership to facilitate throughout regulated generation the tactics and strategies which enhance overall execution effectiveness.

-Primary Air Compliance Coordinator for Big Bend Station and secondary for other TEC facilities providing environmental support regarding air related compliance issues-Provide guidance and implementation assistance with regard to the EPA Consent Decree and the FDEP Consent Final Judgment (requires the implementation and oversight of $450 million project)-Track, interpret, and comment on federal, state, and local environmental laws and air regulations and rule making.-Provide technical guidance, leadership, and strategic input to Environmental, Health & Safety and other impacted areas of TEC with respect to air issues-Liaison between environmental regulatory agencies and TEC on air permitting and compliance issues-Participate and/or lead inter-department projects teams to evaluate the environmental impacts to Big Bend Station and/or TECO Energy-Coordinate Title V permitting and strategic input into compliance planning for Clean Air Act implementation-Lead facility air inspections at Big Bend Station and attend dust sampling activities, as necessary

-Evaluate, resolve, and process lighting sales packets-Provide tariff information to Customers-Identify, analyze, and report system problems related to WinCalc and CBS-Safety coordinator for Technical Sales & Support team-Create and distribute ad-hoc reports utilizing the Bulk Power database in Access or CBS-Perform rate analysis on Interruptible and Firm Customers-Import and convert files into Energy View Lite-Work tradeshows for TEC

-Train employees and provide technical support for the FIMS system-Assist supervisor with maintaining budget-Create and distribute ad-hoc reports utilizing SQL/QMF, Access, or Excel-Evaluate and resolve discrepancies in completed work orders-Identify, analyze, and report system problems related to FIMS, OFES, and CIS
