I will be working with Platforms & Operating Systems.

I presently work as an IT Specialist in the Information Resource Management Dept. at the V.A. Medical Center in Huntington, WV. I am the first line of support for end users, including troubleshooting and resolving software, hardware, desktop workstations, laptops, printers, thin clients, VOIP phones, intranet, and internet. I am the primary support for on-site and off-site Laptops, which includes imaging, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Providing technical support for BCMA Medical Carts, MyHealtheVet Kiosks and Bed Management System. I also am the primary technical support for all Hewlett Packard, Lexmark, Zebra and Dell printers at Huntington, as well as, all Community Out-Based Clinics. I have been proudly serving our veterans at the Department of Veterans Affairs since November, 2001.

I worked with Insight, Inc on a refresh project involving several of the Chase Banks in West Virginia. As an IT Specialist my duties included, but were not limited to: breaking down Hewlett Packard workstations, erasing and disposal of the removed hard drives, installing new HP workstations, image workstations using a WDS server, installing multi-function printers, pen pads, MICR printers, fraud device, monitors, keyboards, mice, and card swipe scanners.
