Shelly is Film Consultant for Atlantic Screen Music, working on their slate and sourcing and evaluating feature film projects for score funding and music supervision. She is also Creative Affairs Executive/Executive Producer for Fingerprint Content. Fingerprint is a content creation company run by Melanie Dicks and Jessica Hines, which includes an international team of advisors. The London based company, with production hubs in the USA, France and India, creates commercially driven content produced with minimal environmental impact. Fingerprint has a clear and urgent mission: to spark change in the way we portray social issues on the screen. We empower the world's most exciting storytellers to bring their deeply-held passions to life; exploring inequality, race and gender, the power of big business, and, most particularly, climate change, where we encounter all these issues. By engaging audiences with the compelling stories of this disruptive time, we aim to inspire, organise, action and focus the conversation across film, TV and digital platforms.For Fingerprint, Shelly is Executive Producer on both the feature film 'The Eye', winner of Best Film and Best Director at the Greece International Film Festival 2023 and nominated for Best Film at the London Independent Film Festival 2023 - and the television series 'The Men Who Sold the World', which is in development with multi-award-winning writer James Graham.Shelly is currently producing a feature film 'Hildegard' with Olivier-nominated playwright Hattie Naylor and producer Jacob Thomas, which is in development.She was previously Film Acquisitions Consultant for the film fund Premiere Picture and an 'Expert' Assessor for Creative Europe. She ran the development slate for Matrix Film Finance (initiating and managing a co-development arrangement with Recorded Picture Company) and was Head of Creative Affairs (Europe) for MGM-Pathe. Projects as a producer include The Passion of Darkly Noon. She has been a tutor in MA Screenwriting and film production, was on the interview panel for the NFTS and was an assessor for the Arts Council of Britain. She originally trained as a film director on the Royal College of Art School of Film & TV MA course.
