Through its platform, Journera creates a complete view of the traveler's journey in real-time, enabling travel-related companies to create better travel experiences and hyper-personalized offers that drive increased loyalty and direct engagement with customers.- Designed the Journera platform and products from scratch (starting on day 1 of the company) to transform a research project and company mission into an extremely secure data exchange platform and services capable of high transaction volume (350M customer IDs, 800M reservations and 13B travel events) and patented real-time customer and trip matching of encrypted data across air and hotel travel companies.-Closely collaborated with leaders across all business functions on company strategy and execution including technology, sales, business development, customer success, finance and marketing.- Evangelized the Journera products and benefits with existing and prospective partners/customers at client meetings (in-person and virtual), travel trade shows (Phocuswright), quarterly Advisory Board meetings, and investor due diligence sessions.- Leadership team sponsor for all people-related activities including the overhaul of all job descriptions to use inclusive, unbiased language, expansion of candidate sourcing to include diversity-jobs.com and Jopwell, fair hiring practices leveraging Greenhouse tools, DEI training for the organization and the formation of our DEI committee.

Business Growth• Delivered hotel product and e-marketing capabilities that contributed in the growth of hotel revenue to over 50 percent of total Orbitz Worldwide revenue. • Grew the Orbitz Partner Network hotel line of business by implementing new tools and capabilities for partners including American Express Travel Rewards, Southwest Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines and Bank of America.• Implemented new customer payment options including PayPal, PayPal Credit, Google Wallet, AliPay, e-banking, Visa Checkout and MasterPass to increase mobile adoption and seize business development opportunities upwards of $10 million.• Mitigated credit card fraud by migrating revenue protection functionality from a proprietary system to Accertify, enabling and optimizing 3D Secure and building real-time data feeds to optimize fraud detection algorithms based on customer behavior.Customer Experience• Delivered an updated, responsive hotel shopping and booking experience across all device sizes which improved conversion up to 10% on mobile devices.• Drove site experimentation and optimization to improve customer conversion as part of an initiative to run 3,000 site experiments in 2015.• Curated hotel room-level content for over 25,000 hotels which drove a 4% conversion improvementInnovation• Pioneered loyalty product capabilities for the award winning Orbitz Member Rewards program as well as similar programs for CheapTickets, ebookers and HotelClub.• Conceptualized and drove initial launch of the Orbitz Member Rewards program which in two years has grown to include over five million members and has doubled the hotel attachment rate for customers who book a flight.Leadership• Managed a team of 17 product directors, managers and analysts to drive the work of 223 software engineers for our hotel, loyalty and finance products.• Led the Orbitz governance team responsible for pre and post-close integration initiatives with Expedia, Inc.

Led Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) client engagements, managing Accenture and client personnel, to improve the flow of information between design engineers and manufacturing engineers. Engagements included major software implementations and process definition around change management and Bill of Material processes. Selected engagements include:• Designed, implemented and piloted a new design engineering application for Harley-Davidson in collaboration with a team of engineers working on a top-secret motorcycle (at the time).• Transformed the design engineering processes and tools at EMC from 1999-2001 as part of a complete retooling of the entire supply chain including engineering, manufacturing, order placement, shipping and accounting. Led the international migration efforts from Cork, Ireland for the months long preparation for a 36-hour migration where all factories where shut down for a complete data migration and cutover to all new tools and applications.• Redesigned the change management processes for Guidant Corporation to improve efficiency of product changes to pacemakers and defibrillators that require FDA notification and approval.• Reengineered design processes at Hewlett-Packard to unify practices between teams originating from Compaq and H-P post acquisition.• Designed new applications and processes to accommodate complete refactoring of the Bill of Materials for design and manufacturing engineers at UT Starcom in Hangzhou, China.
