I was born for a career in investments. Over the many years in the financial industry – through Bank of America, Merrill Lynch, and Southwest Bank – I developed a strong commitment to my clients and their long-term financial goals.I began my investment career in 1986, and early on, I shifted my focus to Trust and Estate Planning, where I gained extensive experience managing high-net-worth clients. My expertise continued to grow through my exposure to the various assets held in trust accounts – stocks and bonds, real estate, oil and gas, and businesses, to name a few. As I continued my career, I deepened my knowledge of the world of investments and learned what it meant to put the customer first. I saw the need to provide independent, objective financial advice to my clients, and that lead me to start Visionary Financial Group in Flower Mound, Texas, where I could make the best use of my unique financial skill set.My VISION is to help you understand the financial options available to you and to help you stay on track, even during difficult times. Your VISION for your financial future is my priority, and I pride myself on excellent customer service.I earned my Bachelor of Economics and Finance from the University of Texas in Dallas and received my Certified Wealth Strategist® designation from Cannon Financial Institute. I also have my insurance license and Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses. I believe in volunteering in my community and church, and I’m particularly proud of my fundraising efforts to benefit the homeless, especially homeless teens. I served on the Board of an organization that helps at-risk teens called Journey to Dream. I've also served on the Flower Mound Chamber of Commerce Board in various positions, most recently as Chairman.
