Achieve the mission of a nonprofit technical association, "advocate, innovate, educate", with activities to serve the members of the metalcasting industry. ■ Manage the course development projects by overseeing instructional designers and subject matter experts, both in-house and remote, to produce skills training that meets established adult learning and quality standards for accurate technical content.■ Developed inexpensive lab activities for the metallurgy and gating classroom courses using open source micro controllers, hand-held measurement devices, and other common materials; lab activities have also been successfully applied in a junior high school environment.■ Act as the liaison between the Institute and the AFS technical committees to increase communication for educational needs and project status, source qualified subject matter experts for development, and identify course facilitators.■ Function as a member of the social media team to promote the metalcasting industry, events, and STEM outreach efforts.

Integrated the 350 series engine into various industrial and agricultural products which included working with the customer and application engineers at John Deere to determine cost effective solutions, engine assembly instructions, and developed new trim components and assemblies to meet customer specifications and EPA regulations. ■ Worked with development, application, and manufacturing engineers to develop a bill of materials and assembly instructions for the first Tier 2 350 series engine build.
