Rather than "cutting" programs, the coaches came together determined to raise the money; the School Board gave us until June 30, 2013 to raise $25,000. - Insured that all checks and deposits were done in a timely manner. - Reconciled accounts and presented balance sheet at monthly Council meetings. - Organized and managed all of the Council's fundraising efforts. - Brought various coaches together and coordinated a number of successful fundraisers.1) Palace/DTE/Meadow Brook: served as main contact with the Palace, organizing opportunities for Athletic Teams to run concessions. Served as liaison between The Palace and our various groups, to staff as many events as possible. Worked each event as Cash Manager and crew trainer. All money raised working these events directly funded the programs that worked them.2) The Ace of Spades Progressive Raffle: Served as record keeper, updated and filed all worker logs and financial information, reconciled all deposits and payouts, successfully went through audits with the Charitable Gaming Commission and helped finalize actual payouts and taxes.
