The role was taken to progress on academic experience from my Diploma in Marketing. The role involved:Co-ordination and production of the 2009 printed and online ratecard for the European sales team.Overhaul of new online media kit - www.ft.com/advertising.Producing industry related sales sheets for internal and external exposure of advertising packages and special reports. E-newsletters to key advertisers from the Global Commercial Director highlighting key messages and product launches. Plus, e-newsletters on key products in the FT portfolio to increase awareness and advertising spend. Ensuring industry events that the FT sponsored or are media partners of, adhered to brand guidelines. As well as supplying marketing collateral from stand branding, sales sheets to newspapers.Ensuring value added when ordering client gifts such as notebooks with case studies in and industry calendars listing all special reports with key statistics and booking deadlines.Coordinating the set up of relevant microsites relating to the results from key B2B surveys and e-newsletters to inform clients of them.Management of a £350,000 budget.Key Achievements:Producing a ratecard £5k under budget to deadline, which hundreds of sales representatives and FT clients refer to on daily basis.Updating the new online media kit to a standard to represent the portfolio of FT products which advertisers are directed.Establishing a direct link between e-newsletter mail outs and bookings from new advertisers.

The role was taken to develop a career in marketing following on from experience in my degree, whilst studying for a Diploma in Marketing. The role involved:Developed and maintained the Marketing departments Intranet pages.Briefing and developing an image library for global designers to share images, which have been approved for usage by management.Supervising and confirming the Marketing departments house and contra adverts in the newspaper each day.Assisting in 2008 marketing plans and strategies for the department. Working with the Research Team to update fact sheets for the Advertising team's internal microsite.Contributing in monthly meetings, which incorporate all the agencies used by the department.Collating of information from the company for econometric testing following the new marketing campaigns.Advising on pack shot shootings for the newspaper.

Recruited on a permanent basis to establish my career path from university. The position involved learning the basics of insolvency in a small but busy practice. The role incorporated:Processing and updating cheque requests with bank reconciliation's.Managing confidential client accounts and preparing letters, reports and memos etc.
