My ultimate career goal is to lead sustainability globally, where I believe we can work hard, have fun and be sustainable all at once.I aspire to be a part of a company that has a genuine ambition to be a positive force in sustainability and allows me to be true to my vision and that shares the same values. ---------Sustainability Professional with 4+ years of experience in the areas of Sustainability Reporting & certification, Strategy Development, Environmental Management; particularly Waste Management, Air Quality Monitoring & Control, Stakeholder Engagement, Designing of Sustainability Programs/Training, GHG Accounting..etc. I hold a Bachelors degree in Environmental Engineering (Class llA Honours) from Griffith University; attaining comprehensive knowledge of environmental and social issues, resource management concerns, and sustainability practicesIn early 2012, I interned at Logan Waste Services in Logan City Council in Queensland. I assisted with environmental site inspections, while verifying regulatory compliance. I was employed at J&A Wealth Management (Yellow Brick Road) as a Client Support Officer from 2013-2014.In 2014, I move to Sri Lanka and joined Holcim as a Junior Engineer. Subsequently, I joined Teejay Lanka Lanka as an Environmental Engineer. This was a game changer for me as it shaped my career in sustainability. I was able to develop expertise in sustainability reporting frameworks, environmental policies, CSR/sustainability topics, skills in project management and the ability to direct, manage, and develop staff.In 2016, I joined Dilmah Ceylon Tea Company. At Dilmah I saw how we can have a positive impact through our operations in the country. I was inspired to develop a strategy for the company and vision for better lives and better operations.
