Shelly Maynard is a mom of two boys, ages 18 and 16, and lives in Lynchburg, Tennessee. She grew up in a tiny farm town, Ashmore, Illinois, until her early teens when her family relocated to Tennessee. Small town life is the best way to live in her book! By day, she is the AR/AP/Payroll/Office Assistant for a local, family-owned steel fabrication shop and founded her blog in 2012. Over the past seven years, it has evolved from a coupon blog to the direction of small town life that it's headed to today. Shelly enjoys spending time in her garden to enable her to create delicious, home-cooked meals every night for her family. Baking pies from scratch is a favorite past time! She also describes reading as a necessity in life as much as air. She loves good movies, music of all genres, and concerts. Shelly's focus has shifted to sharing recipes that any level of cook can make at home!
