Lutheran Community Services Northwest has a history of serving people in the Northwest for more than 100 years. The organization employs more than 600 people throughout Washington, Oregon and Idaho. In Vancouver WA, we are focused largely on delivering services for refugee and asylum seekers, as well as for victims for crimes. We also provide restorative justice practices and behavioral health care.

Thank you to everyone who voted for Measure 98! The measure passed with 65 percent of the vote. Measure 98 directs the Legislature to set aside funding so Oregon high schools can provide career technical education, college prep and dropout prevention.

I led cross-functional teams to create communication plans supporting everything from open enrollment to clinical process improvement and other system services initiatives.

I provided story-telling for Kaiser Permanente hospitals in the Portland area, Kaiser Permanente Sunnyside Medical Center and Kaiser Permanente Westside Medical Center. I also led development and the launch of KPNW's site for hospital care, kp.org/nw/hospitals.

I apply skills from my experience as a journalist to assist people and organizations in telling stories that advance strategic goals. I've worked with a variety of organizations, including Portland Public Schools, Lemelson Foundation, Watershed, Port of Portland, The Greenbrier Companies and others.

Instrumental in executing web, print communications and media relations strategy for a campaign promoting a statewide land use measure that won in a landslide. Measure 49 fixed the flaws of a previous measure, 37, that opened the door to what would have been rampant development on farmland and other places where it never had been considered.

I reported on manufacturing, trade, transportation, food processing, creative services and other sectors. SEC filings, legal complaints and other public documents served as the foundation for much of my reporting.
