Mr Collins is a Certified Facility Manager and consultant with over 20 years of international experience in policy design and implementation of projects in various sectors, including Public Private Partnership models. He is the Managing Partner/Senior consultant of SheltercareFM Consult based in Nigeria. He is also a founding partner of the Corporate FM Alliance – a group of international companies working together on regular basis to provide FM and Real Estate services on a pan European and African basis throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. He has accumulated extensive experience in strategic facility planning, infrastructure development consultancy, FM process re engineering, Computer Aided Facility Management Software implementation and FM Outsourcing. He is championing the cause to institutionalise the FM profession in Nigeria. He is actively involved in organising and hosting seminars/workshops aimed at promoting knowledge, best practice and development of the Facilities Management industry in Nigeria and the Africa continent. Collins is the current President of the Abuja Chapter of International Facility Management Association and IFMA Foundation – Ambassador for Africa. He is also the EuroFM Ambassador in Nigeria. Collins is the chairman of the National Mirror Committee ISO/TC 267 in Nigeria
