Worked specifically on the project for the Internal Revenue Service. Each year when the code was developed, team performed functional and regression testing. Tasks for the IRS Auditors included adjusting the test environment server dates while auditors performed future date specific tests. Validated and communicated issues to the team via creating a JIRA and fully documented the issues. Once a fix was completed, retested the issue and notified the auditors of the change.Recruited for the QA position at ChoicePay/Tier Technologies (Official Payments)/ACI Worldwide, from Verizon Business in Nov 2008:• Only tester of three that retained a position with the new companies. • Provided all of the quality assurance testing for the maintenance team, including rolling out new clients on a monthly basis and full end-to-end testing.• Services provided to clients included a voice recognition system and three different web based applications that accepted credit card and check payments. • Clients were different industries including utility companies, insurance companies, and business that had consumers making monthly payments.• Analyzed data in tables and validating the values populated each column were the expected values. Started in 2005 as a consultant. In 2006, accepted a full time position, with work centered on a multi-country team that made enhancements based on business requirements. With each team members’ specialties, we completed a full end-to-end testing of changes. • System was fully integrated over five systems, having more than 125 different processes/applications.• Used a system called WIN Billing, which created invoices from a CDR and was delivered in many different formats to our wholesale customers.• Focused on a GUI suite of applications that allowed customers to order new service as well as receive monthly invoices in HTML, CSV, PDF, and ZIP formats. • Worked on back end UNIX systems to generate a Verizon VZ450 file that included detailed usage every month for customers. Tools or applications used for testing:• Mercury (Test Director) for writing detailed test cases, Aqua Data Studio for doing SQL queries, WINSCP and PUTTY for SSH connections to dozens of UNIX boxes.
