PASAC's mission is to promote the health and wellness of our community by working to reduce the impact and prevalence of sexual violence. We provide community outreach and education, advocacy, forensic interviewing, and mental health counseling to victims of sexual violence and their families. PASAC is proud to offer the only free-standing expressive arts therapy center dedicated solely to survivors of sexual violence in western Kentucky. I provide crisis counseling to children, adolescents and adults using multiple evidence-based approaches, including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and EMDR.

Mill St. Lodge, part of the 3 East continuum of care at McLean Hospital is a Dialectical Behavior Therapy-based residential program serving adolescent girls of high school age struggling with suicidality, self-injury and other traits of Borderline Personality Disorder. While with the 3 East continuum, I co-created DBT-based expressive arts groups, as well as provided DBT skills coaching to the residents. While at Mill St Lodge, I maintained the staffing schedule, assisted in the interview and hiring process of new employees, provided supervision for staff, and contributed to the development of the program's policies and procedures.

The Nursery School serves children from 1-5 years of age who are struggling with family and environmental situations that are causing a significant amount of emotional and psychological distress, such that the children are unable to be placed in mainstream classrooms, and are in danger of missing important developmental milestones that could impair their ability to become healthy, adjusted adults. I offered individual and group play and expressive arts therapy, as well as offering support to the children in the classroom/mileu setting. I worked with staff, faculty and parents to help maximize the benefits of this program to both the child and the parents.

The Pacific Center is an LGBT community center that offers sliding scale fee mental health counseling to its community members and allies. I provided individual and group therapy, both verbal and expressive arts based, to adult clients.
