Current Risk profiling, analysis and vetting all credit proposals for both funded and non-funded facilities and thorough and accurate appraisal of Credit applications. Ensuring that credit approvals are done at appropriate authority/ internal credit policies as set by the Board of Directors, as well as CBK Guidelines & Laws of Kenya are adhered to in all credit applications. Conducting site visits with the Relationship managers to understand the business and structure suitable facilities as per the customer requirements. Presenting credit requests to MCC and BCC as and when required. Responding to any queries regarding request that are submitted to MCC or BCC for approval. Managing a team of analysts that are responsible for credit origination. Portfolio monitoring to ensure quality in all sectors and to ensure appropriate remedial action is taken in time.
