Head of Operations at BioBuu Kenya Ltd. Since joining the company I have overseen steady monthly increase in the production numbers that had otherwise regressed, supervised the previously stalled expansion of the factory's facilities and grown the company staff by two fold to support the increase in production. With the company's quarterly and yearly goal in mind I perform the following duties to ensure operations are in line with goals by facilitating the below:- Analyse the the breeding, growing and pupation data in order to identify key markers that can signal a potential obstacle to our growth, I then set out plans to mitigate any potential issues that may arise.- Outline weekly targets to supervisors and ensure I outline the daily targets to the team- Ensure all processes are conducted so as to ensure maximum efficiency.-Handle all logistics in terms of goods in and out. - Analyses operations data and give feedback, correction or appraisal where necessary.- Give continuous feedback to directors on the state of the processes and potential new ways to improve efficiency. . - Search out, interview and hire all workers within BioBuu Kenya Ltd to ensure we have the correct person for the right job- Source for supplies of materials and services. - Handle the company's monthly finances.- Supervise construction and expansion of the company factory. - Negotiate contracts with suppliers and contractors. - Liaison with Mombasa and Kilifi county and national authorities such as NEMA and KRA in order to ensure smooth operations

Responsible for the day to day running of all the productsbeing design and fabricated.Team Size : 40+-person team composing of welders, fitters, plasma machineoperators, bending machine operators and casuals.Roles carried out:● Planned out the day-to-day for the workers to ensure that all the work was beingdone as per the job cards● Managed the ERP system to ensure all job cards had the correct quantities ofmaterial and that they matched with the stores quantities. This ensured a smoothmaterial request process and gave the stores department adequate time torequest material.● Did technical designs when special jobs came for fabrication.● Listened to customer needs and advised on best designs to fully bring out thecustomer’s requirement.● Did production quality checks as each product was being fabricated to ensurewe caught all potential problems as early as possible

- Responsible for the design and implementation of the pre-production and production sectors of the waste recycling plant. Which included the installation of greenhouses and the Climate control units.- Creation of installation and commissioning plans for the equipment. - Creation of checklists based on the equipment installation.- Researched for the most efficient and cost effective technologies to be utilized in the plant. Specifically due to the fact that we were using new technologies to upgrade the existing processes. - Liaise with local and international vendors based on the selected technologies. - Prepare the technology & equipment cost-benefit analysis paper to defend the expenditure to the stakeholders. - Created training plans for the equipment and conducted the training on the operators. - Created the required documentation to enable the vendors to understand the plant's needs such as machine specification sheets and technical drawings.- Created the machines operation guidelines that married our process requirements and flow to the vendor equipment manual to enable easier understanding of the entire process.

- Worked hand in hand with Jua-kali metal workers & interior designers to upgrade their quality of work but aiding in the set-up of CNC machines in their premises.

-Successfully managed the design, fabrication and shipping of over 300 vending booths to Congo Brazzaville. I then went to the said country and ensured the assembly was done correctly and up to the standards of the design. -Coordinated the day to day production and employee work planning ensuring timelines were kept and the quality of work was up to standard. - Acted as a liaison between the client and company in interpreting the client's design and actualizing it in the form of technical drawings. -Supervised the on the ground truck body building teams, this ensured proper working conditions and work practices that would lead to a good quality of work.

- Acted as a liaison between the client and company in interpreting the client's design and actualizing it in the form of technical drawings. -Succeeded in designing a new truck body-building process that enabled them to be mass produced and be shipped in broken down parts to be assembled on site.- Using my knowledge in computer aided manufacturing, I altered the existing design of specific man-power & time consuming truck components and had them produced using CNCs and half the manpower.

-Successfully retrofitted and refurbished an integral quality control machine for Kenya Ordnance Factories Corporation( Kenya's only ammunition manufacturer) as part a 2 man team, myself handling the mechanical aspect. -Led the mechanical team in the design, fabrication, installation & the overall commissioning of the OEM CNC machines made by Proteq Automation. They included plasma cutters which are used to cut intricate shapes on metal pieces and wood routers which create any form of shapes on varying materials such as wood and cloth.- Trained the operators on how to use the CNC machines.
