Hey there! I'm currently pursuing my Honors Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at the University of Toronto, Scarborough, with a keen interest in advancing my knowledge and expertise in Artificial Intelligence. My passion for AI led me to engaging internships and research opportunities, where I've had the privilege to contribute to cutting-edge projects.During my time as a Machine Learning Engineer Co-op at Loblaw Digital, I played a pivotal role in enhancing automated systems using Gemini Pro, GPT-4 Vision, Python, Docker, and Google Cloud Platform, resulting in significant efficiency gains for email responses and product description generation.Prior to this, I honed my skills as a Machine Learning Algorithm Researcher Intern at H3C, where I immersed myself in the latest algorithm designs and implementations. My contributions ranged from mentoring colleagues on Machine Learning research paper concepts to optimizing testing and training algorithms, all while exploring innovative tools like PyTorch, HuggingFace, and Conda.Beyond industry exposure, I bring academic research experiences to the table. As a Deep Learning Researcher at UofT's Department of Computer Science, I focused on tackling AI safety and interpretability challenges. By conducting literature surveys and giving presentations, I investigated current trends and problems in Neurosymbolic AI models, such as DeepProbLog, which combines neural networks with symbolic reasoning models.Furthermore, I'm currently doing a full time research position as a Machine Learning Researcher at Robot and Vision Learning Lab. I will be exploring methods to effectively integrate 3D object detection with autonomous robots to enhance navigation and task solving capabilities.When I'm not immersed in the world of AI, you can find me indulging in my love for music by playing the piano.
