As UMary's Website Marketing Specialist my duties included:• Creating and maintaining content on main website and sub-sites using SEO strategies• Monitoring website analytics using Google Analytics and reporting campaign effectiveness• Partnering with stakeholders to ensure content featured on the site is up to date, relevant, and in line with marketing efforts• Working with marketing liaisons, content developers, and graphic designers to concept and build micro-sites• Overseeing and strategically directing continued improvement and development of the University's online efforts• Assisting University departments with marketing efforts including collateral development, event promotions, etc.• Recruiting and supervising work campus students participating in the website internship program, which was focused on training website/marketing services and mentoring in personal and professional growth.

At BSE I worked alongside a group of Industrial Market Specialists. Together, we coordinated marketing strategies and ensured they line up with internal expectations as well as vendors goals. We analyzed sales results and worked with pricing, procurement and operations departments to figure out ways our company could become more efficient and profitable through our daily operations in the distribution world. Working both as a Direct Support Professional and a Marketing Intern I was able to see both the office setting and the caregiver scene of this amazing nonprofit organization. It is no surprise that providing assistance and social guidance to individuals with disabilities was by far my most rewarding job up until this point.
