Curious – Innovative – Passionate on finding better ways to do things.I’m a penultimate student at Macquarie Business School, actively searching for roles in the accounting/audit/tax industry. As an accounting student, my curiosity expanded beyond the stories the numbers tell and I started asking questions on how we can bridge the gap between the rigidness of data and the client/community. If I explain this process to a 15-year-old, would s/he understand it? How can I present a year worth of transactions in a way that someone would understand it within 5 seconds? What if we go against tradition, would that make our lives easier?My experience allowed me to navigate various accounting systems (both old and new) and transform the intimidating numbers for better cross-teams understanding and enhance my attention to detail.
