When coming to Canada for my education, I found myself struggling with many aspects of coming to Canada and living within Canada. Canadian culture was challenging to me due to the huge cultural differences between the East and the West. I landed in Canada and had no one to help or assist me. I felt lost and confused. When I arrived in Sudbury for school, I struggled to find housing, the fact that having no social connections and Canadian credit history did not help either. As time progressed, I struggled with banking, finding my own space, finding medical care when I was sick, and especially finding a job in my field after graduating from University. I was even scammed by two businesses claiming to help with my immigration papers. I ended up struggling through the whole immigration process on my own. At last, I successfully obtained my permanent residence card. Having gone through the whole journey on my own, I made a commitment to bringing solutions to all the problems I hated experiencing as an international student.
