Dedicated and compassionate Doctor with over 5 years of experience in Health Management, healthcare service delivery, Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI) including routine immunization, and Polio eradication. Currently, I am employed with the World Health Organization as a Disease Surveillance Officer in Chagai Balochistan. In this role, I focus on Anti Polio Campaigns (SIAs), Acute Flaccid Paralysis (AFP) Surveillance, and coordination with field staff, the Polio Eradication Initiative (PEI), and government personnel at district levels to implement immunization plans. My responsibilities also include monitoring the delivery of immunization services in fixed, outreach, and mobile sessions, as well as preparing high-quality micro-plans for routine immunization at the Union Council level. Additionally, I support activities to enhance the quality of immunization coverage and surveillance data, assess the impact of the immunization program through Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPDs) surveillance, and facilitate the operational component of EPI/PEI synergy.Prior to my current role, I served as an in-charge Medical Officer for various Basic Health Units (BHUs) in District Chagai, providing outpatient services, routine immunization, and effective management of BHU and staff. Subsequently, I worked on an ad hoc basis as a medical officer at DHQ Prince Fahad hospital Dalbandin, where I also assumed the role of acting Medical Superintendent, overseeing 24/7 hospital operations, routine immunization, and continuous operation theater and emergency services. Following this, I joined the Medical Emergency Response Centers (MERC) at Balochistan Rescue 1122 as an Emergency Medical Officer and in-charge of the MERC Center, contributing to different MERC centers and providing training in emergency, resuscitation, and anesthesia to the staff. During the initial Covid-19 crisis in Pakistan, I offered my services to MERC, PPHI, and the District Health Department in Taftan. I subsequently returned to the health department on an ad hoc basis at RHC Nokunddi before joining the World Health Organization as an Immunization Officer in NaseerAbad. In this position, I focused on strengthening the surveillance system and supporting supplementary and routine immunization activities.
