My company, Gozynta, creates software integrations for ConnectWise Manage. We have over a thousand MSPs using Gozynta Mobius to sync Manage with QuickBooks Online.I've been in this industry in some way or other since high school. My high school hired me to set up their first office network during the summer between my junior and senior year. My experience since then includes retail store break/fix home computers, T&M consulting, being a one-man IT department for a 15-person company, and working as part of an MSP.The first code for what is now Gozynta Mobius was started in 2012 under the MSP I was then a part-owner of. In 2018, we spun Gozynta off of Mobius Works. The MSP part of Mobius Works was purchased by a larger MSP in New England and is still operating.

We're just trying to make it suck less." This isn't so that we have an excuse to make sucky software, quite the opposite. It's a reminder to look at our software from our customer's perspective, constantly seek out the sucky parts, and work to make them suck less. We will always have room to improve and must strive to do better.

Chief Executive OfficerMobius Works, Llc Jun 2008 - Aug 2018The first code for Gozynta Mobius was written at Mobius Works in 2012. We built at least a dozen integrations with ConnectWise Manage and other software. These are the roots that Gozynta grew from.When I started at Mobius Works it was just 5 of us doing break-fix IT. In the coming years we grew from 5 people to 25 people.We developed a software consulting practice out of a partnership with EpiCenter. We were their technical arm as they supported Epicor's ERP software. I initially handled all of that work personally. By 2013 I grew a team under me so that Mobius Works was half MSP, half software consulting/custom development.In 2016 we sold the MSP part of the business, which still operates in Westfield as part of Integrated IT. At this time we, I stepped up as CEO. We had 3 lines of business: custom software development for Epicor ERP, managed services (including cloud hosting) specifically for the Epicor ERP software, and software integrations for ConnectWise Manage.In 2018, I spun off the ConnectWise products to form Gozynta. The remainder of Mobius was purchased by EpiCenter and still provides a deep level of technical knowledge to the Epicor software community.

I was the sole IT support person for the company. I kept their antiquated accounting/ERP system running, and supported all their servers and desktop workstations. I setup Linux systems to handle email and as the network firewall.My single largest accomplishment was rewriting, from the ground up, the software that our customers used to order product. At the time, very few of our customers had reliable, always-on internet connections. The software was the latest version of our online catalog software. It could use either the internet, or a direct-dial modem connection to download updates to our catalog, and send product orders in to us.
