In parallel to my consultancy work I contracted to Operative initially to revise test scripts for MediaWorks (an Operative client) in preparation of a Broadcast Media system upgrade, but more recently returned as a Senior Business Analyst where I worked on functional designs and participated in client pre-sales.

More recently I have been involved with the delivery of the new Free-to-air broadcast certification rules and restrictions, scoping and testing defect releases as well as working with the Sales team to implement an automated sales campaign management system.

Provided SME services to Test Consultants commissioned to automate test scripts for a Australasian broadcaster using a globally used Broadcast Management System.

I was approached and then employed by the Pilat Media COO and CEO as a Business Analyst with a view to leveraging my experience as a client of Pilat's IBMS system and to represent Pilat in the New Zealand and Australian markets. In 2014 SintecMedia acquired Pilat Media. In addition to delivering a large number of design specifications for client enhancements across both Content Management and Ad Sales product lines, I also led the analysis and design on the following projects:Seven West Media -Australia: Lead Business Analyst for the implementation of the IBMSSales product line. Involved in the data migration from Seven West Media's legacy system; designed enhancements to a number of third party integrations and delivered training to the regional sales and traffic users in Maroochydore. Foxtel - Australia: Business Analyst on a project that unified the traditional PushVOD/NVOD and newer VIdeo on Demand models onto a single upgraded IBMS instance. MediaWorks - New Zealand: Created test scripts for business workflows across Content and Ad Sales in preparation of a version upgrade. Rescued the replacement of IBMS with WideOrbit by assessing MediaWorks' requirements against both the production and future versions of IBMS. Prime - Australia: Delivery Consultant to the Lead Business Analyst for IBMS's Content Management product during the initial implementation project. I then returned to Prime after three years to perform a detailed health check of Prime's business processes to support a version upgrade and identify additional functionality that could be leveraged by the business. NBN Television and NTD Television (owned by Network Nine) - Australia: Led a business review of NBN's Sales operations with the aim of migrating the Networks from their legacy systems to a shared instance of IBMS owned and operated by Southern Cross Austereo. TVNZ - New Zealand: Project managed the delivery of an application and Oracle upgrade.

Mt Wellington

Led a major upgrade of an existing broadcast management system to a .Net platform whilst simultaneously being involved in a digital media project that saw the delivery of content being offered to subscriber customers online. Also acted as 3rd level support.

Auckland Cbd

A fixed term contract where I provided support for media systems including IBMS, EPG and a Programme Planning Scheduling System. Documented current and ‘to be‘ workflows as well as supported the business through a media system upgrade. Acted as technical support to the Media Application Specialist.

Albany

Test analyst for an application that included Chart, Radar, Sonar, AIS, Instrument, Navigation & Media capabilities for marine navigation used on large vessels. Developed and executed test scenarios from functional specifications.

Instrumental in researching, reviewing and analysing the effectiveness & efficiency of existing business processes from which I developed strategies to deliver improvements.Led the evaluation and implementation of new versions of the major Broadcast Management System used by TV3 including:• Managing a test team (10–15 personnel) for functional system & system integration testing. • Development of test scripts from use cases and scenarios that I had previously documented.• Working with vendor to resolve and deliver bug fixes.• Project managed system upgrades.
